The project “The Lovers of Pompeii” and Hermann's idea to place a sculpture of two lovers into the hollow trunk of the olive tree based on Body Obsessed, was Jonty Hurwitz’s cue. Besides, it had been high time for a personal creative sparring and a visit to Vorarlberg.

Two days filled with inspiration, esprit and debate animated the minds of both these special personalities – Hermann emotional and with unclipped wings, versus Jonty with the calculating coolness of the scientist. While strolling through Feldkirch, the two also made a stop at Johanniterkirche. For Jonty, the cosmopolitan, a poetic and inspiring exhibition venue.

Two days with two very special people. And there is still a lot more to tell. Let’ wait and be excited to see which ideas will eventually result in the completion of the olive tree sculpture.
